The EAP Sales Executive is accountable for driving new business growth within a defined geographic and segment-based territory. This is a senior individual contributor role responsible for sourcing, shaping, and closing Employee Assistance Program (EAP) opportunities to deliver predictable, profitable revenue. This leader serves as the territory’s subject matter expert—building strong consultant and broker relationships, leading complex RFP pursuits end‑to‑end, and representing the full value of Resources for Living (RFL) with precision in competitive market situations.
**In addition to a base salary, this opportunity is also eligible for Sales Incentive Commission**
Key Responsibilities
Own Territory Growth & New Logo Acquisition
Drive new business sales strategy and execution across assigned territory
Identify, develop, and close new logo opportunities
Build and manage a robust pipeline aligned to growth targets
Lead Consultant & Broker Engagement
Cultivate trusted advisor relationships with key consultants and brokers
Proactively position RFL capabilities within consultant channels
Influence opportunity development and market perception
Manage RFPs & Finalist Pursuits
Lead end-to-end RFP strategy, response, and submission
Shape deal strategy, messaging, and win themes
Deliver compelling finalist presentations that differentiate RFL
Navigate Pricing, Underwriting & Deal Approvals
Partner cross-functionally to develop competitive, profitable proposals
Lead pricing strategy and negotiation in alignment with margin goals
Secure internal approvals and drive deals to close
Represent the RFL Value Story
Clearly articulate RFL’s clinical, digital, and operational differentiation
Tailor messaging to employer needs and market dynamics
Position integrated EAP and behavioral health capabilities effectively
Territory Planning & Collaboration
Develop and execute a disciplined territory and account plan
Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting
Collaborate with internal partners across account management, clinical, product, and underwriting
Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience in healthcare, EAP, behavioral health, or related sales
Demonstrated success in new business acquisition and closing complex deals
Proven ability to lead consultant/broker relationships
Strong experience managing RFPs and finalist presentations
Financial acumen including pricing, underwriting, and margin management
Executive presence with strong communication and storytelling skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with employer-sponsored mental wellbeing, EAP, or behavioral health solutions
Knowledge of public and/or national account segments
Familiarity with multi-product or integrated health solutions

High win rates in competitive RFPs and finalist situations
Strong consultant/broker advocacy in the territory

The typical pay range for this role is:
$75,500.00 - $174,134.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
