GoVo for Business at Royal Voluntary Service has an opportunity available for a Commercial Partnership Lead to join our team, working remotely from within the UK. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a salary from £50,434 per annum, dependant upon experience. About the Commercial Partnership Lead role: This role is responsible for supporting the commercial growth of GoVo for Business through the development and conversion of new corporate revenue opportunities.
Reporting to the Partnerships Director, the postholder will focus on progressing strategic commercial opportunities across direct business development, referral partnerships and wider revenue initiatives linked to GoVo for Business growth plans.
Hours: 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday
Location: Home based within the UK, with occasional national travel
What you'll bring as our Commercial Partnership Lead: The role is commercially focused, supporting the progression of opportunities through qualification, proposal development, procurement, commercial negotiation and contracting stages. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders to help secure and operationalise new revenue opportunities aligned to GoVo’s commercial objectives.
This position operates within a developing commercial function and requires an individual who is confident engaging senior stakeholders, navigating procurement processes and supporting commercially robust partnership agreements.
This is what we're looking for:
Significant experience in commercial business development, B2B sales or revenue generation environments
Experience supporting and progressing complex commercial opportunities through procurement and contracting stages
Proven ability to engage confidently with senior corporate stakeholders and decision makers
Strong commercial awareness with experience discussing pricing, commercial terms and partnership structures
Experience preparing proposals, procurement responses, supplier onboarding documentation and commercial agreements
Strong organisational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple commercial opportunities simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present clearly and professionally
Experience using CRM systems, preferably HubSpot, to manage opportunity pipelines and reporting
Comfortable operating within a fast-paced and evolving commercial environment
Understanding of employee volunteering, ESG, CSR or social impact programmes would be beneficial
This is what you'll be doing:
Commercial opportunity development
Support delivery of agreed commercial revenue targets across GoVo for Business activity
Identify, qualify and progress new corporate opportunities across HR, CSR, ESG and people functions
Lead commercial discussions with prospective clients and stakeholders, presenting propositions, pricing structures and implementation approaches
Develop proposals, pricing summaries, commercial responses and supporting documentation aligned to client and procurement requirements
Coordinate and support supplier onboarding processes including procurement documentation, due diligence responses and supplier setup requirements
Support the drafting, review and progression of commercial agreements and partnership contracts alongside internal stakeholders
Maintain accurate commercial forecasting, opportunity tracking and reporting within HubSpot
Strategic revenue support
Work collaboratively with partnership leads and strategic referral partners to maximise commercially viable opportunities
Support revenue opportunities connected to funding programmes, strategic collaborations and commercial partnerships where GoVo for Business involvement is required
Contribute market insight and commercial feedback to support proposition development and revenue planning
Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify trends, risks and commercial opportunities within employee volunteering, ESG and workforce engagement
Commercial operations and collaboration
Work closely with Customer Success to support effective onboarding and transition of newly secured clients
Collaborate with Marketing and wider internal stakeholders on campaigns, proposition positioning and commercial materials
Support commercial governance processes, ensuring activity aligns with internal approval, contracting and compliance requirements
Provide insight on commercial pipeline activity, conversion trends and procurement challenges to support wider revenue planning
