As a Digital Marketing Specialist for SAC, you would be joining a dedicated team of professionals who are committed to consistently producing world-class content which will serve as the foundation for helping our clients achieve their highest educational aspirations. Duties and Responsibilities • Conduct in-depth research on assigned topics; • Draft, revise, and finalize compelling original content while adhering to specifications and strict company-developed SEO guidelines (generating a minimum of 15,000 words of original content per month); • Update and refresh existing company marketing content; and • Assist on all other Marketing Department projects as assigned. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, or related field; • Proven content writing or past copywriting experience; • Superior research, writing, and editing skills; • The ability to receive and implement constructed feedback and instruction; • The ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines; • Ability to work independently while also having the ability to integrate seamlessly into a team; • Experience with competitive admissions at the undergraduate and/or graduate level a plus; and • Working knowledge of SEO terms and strategies a plus. Reporting • Position currently reports to the head of the marketing department. Position Type • This position is a full-time position with flexible work hours. This position is expected to complete 40 hours per week. • Position is considered “non-exempt” under state and federal law pertaining to overtime, meal, and rest periods. Location & Other Requirements • This position is 100% remote. • Must have access to a computer with an internet connection. • This position does not require the ability to regularly lift heavy items or perform strenuous physical tasks.
