- Maintain clean, well‑merchandised counters and shelves; conduct regular inventory checks and record‑keeping.
- Price new merchandise, execute price changes, and assist with stock rotation using the first‑in, first‑out (FIFO) method.
- Implement asset‑protection procedures to minimize shrinkage and safeguard store profitability.
- Ensure compliance with state and local regulations for regulated products such as alcoholic beverages and tobacco.
- Construct and refresh promotional displays, seasonal setups, and super‑structure merchandising.
- Assist with food‑safety protocols, separating raw and pre‑cooked items, and adhering to placement guidelines.
