Our story is more than just a story of technology – it’s a story of vision, growth, and transformation that has shaped the past and continues to pave the way for the future.  About the Role:  Dynanet is seeking a Data Insights Analyst to lead analytical discovery, data modeling, dashboard development, and insight generation for a modern cloud-based, AI enabled system. This role is responsible for transforming ingested data into meaningful intelligence, writing analytical scripts, and producing dashboards and reports that support executive level decision-making.  The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills, technical depth in Python/R and SQL, and the ability to think like an executive to propose KPIs, thresholds, and insight driven recommendations. This role with continuity into future development phases, including advanced analytics and predictive modeling.  Roles & Responsibilities:  1. Data Analysis & Insight Generation  Analyze structured and unstructured data to identify trends, anomalies, and operational insights  Write Python or R scripts to process, transform, and analyze data  Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover patterns and correlations  Develop insight-driven summaries and recommendations for leadership  Identify emerging risks, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement  2. Data Modeling & Field Definition  Define data fields, data models, and analytical requirements based on real data  Validate extraction logic and ensure data structures support reporting needs  Collaborate with the Solution Architect to refine data schemas and ingestion outputs  Ensure data quality, consistency, and analytical readiness  3. Dashboard & KPI Development  Design and build dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, AWS QuickSight, or similar tools  Propose meaningful KPIs, thresholds, and scoring logic  Develop visualizations that support executive level situational awareness  Translate analytical findings into intuitive, decision ready dashboards  4. Stakeholder Engagement & Requirements  Participate in requirements workshops and stakeholder interviews  Document analytical needs, reporting expectations, and data dependencies  Provide insight-driven recommendations to guide system design and prioritization  Support leadership with briefing materials and analytical narratives  Required Professional Skills:  7+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics strategy  Strong ability to analyze structured and unstructured data  Proficiency in Python or R for data processing and analysis  Strong SQL skills and experience working with cloud-based data platforms  Experience defining data fields, data models, and analytical requirements  Ability to think like an executive to propose meaningful KPIs and reporting structures  Experience designing dashboards and visualizations (Power BI, Tableau, AWS QuickSight, etc.)  Strong analytical thinking, pattern recognition, and problem-solving skills  Preferred Professional Skills:  Experience with predictive analytics or statistical modeling  Experience with AWS, Azure, or cloud-based data tools  Experience working in federal environments  Familiarity with NLP/AI generated data outputs  Dynanet Team Requirements and Expectations:  Possess Strong written and verbal communication skills.  Highly organized with the ability to prioritize, balance, and effectively advance multiple competing priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.  Ability to interact in a professional and collaborative manner with fellow Dynanet Teammates and the clients, and business partners that we work with.  Ability and desire to challenge and educate yourself to support and advance IT services delivery in the Federal agencies we serve.  Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills.  Respond to team member and client requests via email, MS teams, or other communication means during core business hours.  Active listening skills to understand clients' needs, and collaboration skills to work with other developers and designers.  Education/Experience Requirements:  Bachelor's degree in data science, analytics, computer science, or related field  7+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics strategy  Demonstrated experience in analytics, BI, or data modeling  Experience working with federal agencies and understanding federal IT policies  Employee Benefits Overview:  Industry Competitive Compensation  Medical and Dental Insurance  Paid Time Off/Holidays  401(k) Retirement Plans with Matching  Remote Work*  Paid Training  Employee Referral Program  Employee Development Program
