The Opportunity
We are looking for a full-time Data Quality Control Coordinator for a 6-month contract, with potential to extend based on study enrollment. As a member of Character’s Data Products & Quality team, you will play a key role in maintaining high-quality, standardized datasets that support our observational studies, clinical trials, and research collaborations. In this hands-on role, you will review and validate AI-extracted medical and imaging data, applying rigorous quality standards to ensure accuracy and consistency. Your work will help ensure Character’s data assets are reliable, robust, and ready to drive clinical and scientific discovery.
This remote role reports to the Manager, Data Products & Quality.
Responsibilities
Review AI-extracted medical record and imaging data for accuracy, following established procedures and quality standards
Verify and update data efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy
Identify and correct discrepancies in data records as needed
Maintain the confidentiality and security of sensitive information at all times

Familiarity with ophthalmology, especially glaucoma-related data is preferred
Qualifications
Associate’s degree or a minimum of 2 years of relevant data entry, or related experience
Strong data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy
Experience with HIPAA and/or GCP guidelines preferred
Compensation & Benefits
The hourly pay range for this contract full-time position is $20/hr - $25/hr + benefits.
