Director of HOA Property Management

Full Job Description We are an established property management company launching a new HOA (Homeowners Association) Management Division and are seeking an experienced Director of HOA Property Management to lead, build, and grow this division from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated professional with HOA management experience who is excited about creating processes, growing a client portfolio, managing financial performance, and leading a team. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, organized, financially savvy, and passionate about delivering exceptional service to community associations and their boards. Responsibilities • Build, develop, and oversee the HOA Management Division • Create and implement strategic growth plans for the division • Develop and manage the division's profit and loss (P&L) • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial performance reports • Identify and secure new HOA and condominium association management opportunities • Build and maintain relationships with HOA board members, developers, and community stakeholders • Oversee daily operations for managed associations • Ensure compliance with governing documents, state regulations, and company policies • Attend and facilitate board meetings, annual meetings, and community meetings as needed • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service agreements • Recruit, train, supervise, and mentor HOA management staff • Establish operational procedures and best practices to support growth and efficiency • Resolve homeowner and board concerns in a professional and timely manner • Collaborate with executive leadership to achieve revenue and profitability goals Qualifications • 3-5+ years of HOA, condominium association, or community association management experience required • Previous leadership, supervisory, or management experience preferred • Strong understanding of HOA operations, budgets, reserve studies, financial reporting, and governing documents • Experience managing financial performance and P&L responsibilities • Proven ability to develop business relationships and grow a client portfolio • Excellent communication, organizational, negotiation, and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and lead a growing department • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software Preferred Qualifications • CMCA, AMS, PCAM, or other industry certifications preferred • Experience building or expanding an HOA management portfolio • Knowledge of local and state HOA regulations Benefits • Competitive salary starting at $100,000+ • Performance-based bonus opportunities • Paid time off • Professional development and growth opportunities • Opportunity to build and lead a new division within an established and growing company Experience • HOA/Community Association Management: 3 years (Required) • Leadership/Management: 2 years (Preferred) Pay: $100,000.00 per year Work Location: Remote
