Director Vendor Management

Description: • Lead Ensono’s Vendor Management Office within Procurement and own day-to-day vendor lifecycle management. • Own standardized vendor onboarding, including KYC, financial health review, security review, and code of conduct attestation. • Manage vendor performance, offboarding, and ongoing lifecycle governance. • Lead contract governance, including repository management, template stewardship, renewal tracking, expiration alerts, and approval workflows. • Administer the vendor Code of Conduct, including distribution, attestation tracking, exception handling, breach escalation, and recertification. • Lead vendor ESG reporting and accountability in partnership with Corporate Sustainability and external disclosure requirements. • Maintain the vendor segmentation framework and ensure tier-appropriate treatment across the organization. • Drive vendor risk reviews with InfoSec, Legal, and Compliance across security, financial, regulatory, and geographic risk areas. • Deliver quarterly strategic vendor reviews, renewal forecasting, and spend coverage reporting for executive leadership. • Partner across business, finance, legal, compliance, IT, and AI Transformation teams, while recruiting, developing, and retaining the VMO team. • Lead software compliance verification across internal and client environments and support automation of the three-way validation process. Requirements: • 8+ years of progressive experience in vendor management, procurement, strategic sourcing, or a closely related discipline. • At least 3 years of people leadership experience. • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence across functions without direct authority. • Demonstrated success running a vendor management function in steady state with clean governance, audit-ready posture, and executive-grade reporting. • Familiarity with enterprise sourcing platforms such as Workday Strategic Sourcing or comparable tools. • Familiarity with contract repositories such as DocuSign or comparable tools. • Strong analytical fluency with spend data, contract metadata, vendor risk indicators, and ESG metrics. • Track record of partnering with Legal, InfoSec, Compliance, Finance, and IT on vendor matters. • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. • Preferred experience leading vendor management in a technology services, IT services, or managed services company at enterprise scale. • Preferred experience with ESG reporting frameworks such as CSRD, SEC climate disclosure, CDP, or EcoVadis, and supplier diversity programs. • Preferred familiarity with third-party risk management frameworks and vendor security reviews. • Preferred experience with vendor classification or segmentation across a complex multi-category portfolio. • Preferred experience designing or maintaining scalable vendor onboarding workflows. • Preferred ability to translate vendor data for AI or analytics initiatives. • Preferred experience with contract lifecycle management, renewal forecasting, and repository hygiene. • Preferred experience supporting M&A due diligence on vendor portfolios. • Preferred CPSM, CPSD, or equivalent professional credential. • Preferred exposure to AI tools or technologies to improve efficiency. • Preferred experience managing others in India.
