Director/VP of Marketing

Description Ignite Education Group Director/VP of Marketing (Remote – United States) Position Overview Ignite Education Group, the management company overseeing Ignite Learning Academy (online K-12 private school) and Ignite Achievement Academy (Charlotte-based private schools serving students with special needs) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Director/VP of Marketing to join our team. This individual will lead strategic marketing efforts with an immediate primary focus on growing enrollment for Ignite Learning Academy. This individual will play a key leadership role in developing and executing innovative marketing strategies designed to increase brand awareness, generate qualified leads, improve conversion rates, and drive sustainable enrollment growth. Success in this role will be measured largely by the individual’s ability to increase student enrollment and support the continued expansion of the school. The Director/VP of Marketing will report directly to the CEO and collaborate closely with school leadership, admissions/enrollment staff, and other administrative team members. This is a fully remote position and candidates may reside anywhere within the United States. Key Responsibilities Strategic Marketing Leadership Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with organizational growth goals  Create and oversee short-term and long-term enrollment marketing initiatives  Identify new opportunities to increase brand visibility and student enrollment nationwide  Analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and enrollment data to inform decision-making  Build and strengthen brand positioning for Ignite Learning Academy within the online education market  Build and strengthen brand positioning for other Ignite Education Group programs Enrollment Growth & Lead Generation Drive measurable enrollment growth through strategic marketing campaigns  Develop campaigns focused on lead generation, lead nurturing, and conversion optimization  Collaborate closely with the enrollment/admissions team to improve inquiry-to-enrollment conversion rates  Monitor enrollment funnels and marketing performance metrics to maximize ROI  Utilize data analytics to continuously improve campaign effectiveness  Digital Marketing & Content Strategy Oversee digital advertising initiatives including Google Ads, social media advertising, email campaigns, SEO, and retargeting efforts  Manage website marketing strategy and optimization  Develop compelling marketing content, messaging, and storytelling that reflects the mission and values of the organization  Coordinate social media strategy and online engagement efforts  Ensure consistency in branding and messaging across all platforms  Leadership & Collaboration Work collaboratively with school leadership and administrative teams  Coordinate with enrollment, academics, and student support departments to highlight program strengths and student success stories  Manage relationships with outside vendors, agencies, and marketing partners as needed  Assist in planning promotional events, virtual information sessions, and community outreach initiatives  Potential supervisory duties for lead enrollment team member(s) to ensure congruency across teams Requirements Qualifications Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field  Previous experience in school marketing required, online school marketing highly preferred Demonstrated success developing and executing marketing strategies that drive enrollment growth  Strong understanding of digital marketing, branding, and lead generation  Excellent written and verbal communication skills  Strong organizational, project management, and analytical skills  Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with a team  Must live in the United States - no out of country candidates will be considered Preferred Qualifications Experience marketing online schools or virtual education programs strongly preferred  Experience in K–12 private school marketing preferred  Experience with CRM systems, marketing automation tools, and enrollment funnels  Experience managing advertising budgets and evaluating campaign ROI  Familiarity with parent-focused and education-focused marketing strategies  Key Characteristics The ideal candidate is: Highly driven and growth-oriented  Creative and innovative while remaining data-informed  Passionate about school choice and helping families find the right school environment for their child  Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment  Able to think strategically while also executing day-to-day marketing initiatives  Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience  Potential performance incentives tied to enrollment growth  Comprehensive benefits package 401k matching up to 4% Remote work flexibility  Opportunity to play a significant role in the continued expansion of a rapidly growing education organization Ignite Education Group provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
