Email Marketing Specialist
About the Role
The Email Marketing Specialist will report to the Manager, Global Database Marketing and serve as an integral member of the email marketing team. This role is responsible for building, testing, scheduling, deploying, optimizing, and reporting on B2B email campaigns (from newsletters to event communications), while also collaborating closely with an external Marketing Agency by managing requests for asset creation (emails and landing pages), coordinating timelines, and ensuring campaigns are deployed successfully.The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with email marketing platforms and a deep understanding of best practices, paired with the technical skills to hand-code responsive email templates. This is a collaborative, cross-functional role that requires strong attention to detail, project management ability, and a passion for delivering excellent digital experiences.
What You’ll Do
Operate directly in Marketo to manage targeting, campaign building, QA, and scheduling for one-time and triggered email sends
Work with the Marketing Agency: managing requests, coordinate their work on building emails and landing pages, align on timelines and requirements, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards and internal approvals.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders for QA, approvals, and to support landing page creation
Own email performance and optimization, including building reports that analyze delivery rates and campaign efficiency
Act as the internal subject matter expert on email best practices, technologies, and QA processes to ensure all communications are properly formatted
Maintain and improve QA processes to uphold quality and consistency across all email communications

What You’ll Bring
2+ years of experience operating directly in an email marketing platform, with a proven track record in both coding and deployment
Deep understanding of email marketing strategy and best practices, including A/B testing
Proficiency in HTML and experience with Litmus for email testing and rendering
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related discipline (a combination of education and experience will be considered)
Exemplary attention to detail and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and complete work independently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written communication and strong project management skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Bonus Skills
Experience with Marketo specifically is strongly preferred
Knowledge of B2B email marketing best practices
Experience managing multiple email campaign types simultaneously, including newsletters, event invitations, and nurture programs
Familiarity with landing page and email creation and basic web design principles

Compensation Transparency
Veeam is committed to pay transparency and equitable compensation. For this role, the compensation range below reflects the expected total target compensation (TTC), inclusive of base pay and a competitive performance-based bonus. For roles with a commission plan, the compensation range represents On Target Earnings (OTE), which includes base salary plus variable commission. When determining compensation, Veeam takes into consideration factors such as experience, education, skills, and geographic zone. Offers are typically made below the midpoint of the range.
