* Using computers to assist clients with seat availability, door declarations, flight status, checking and handling baggage, making arrangements, and starting the boarding process
* Working flight procedures to prepare passengers before airplane arrival and lifting, opening, closing, and operating airplane doors

* Securely lifting, loading, dumping, and transporting baggage, mail, and freight to and from airplanes
* Answerable for on-time departures by directing approaching and departing airplanes from the door positions
* Protecting freight, baggage, and mail from damage, loss, and weather
* Securely driving and operating ground equipment like tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors in areas of congestion
* Over and over lifting and loading things onto trucks and ensuring each bag reaches its destination
* Working baggage scanners and computers to ensure baggage and freight are directed accurately to the passenger's destination
