**About the Role**
As a Distributed Systems Engineer at careerzynith, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of exciting projects, including:

**Key Responsibilities**
* Design and develop large-scale distributed systems, focusing on scalability, reliability, and performance
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive cross-functional initiatives
* Contribute to the development of our data infrastructure, including database access, data platform foundation, big data processing, and big data orchestration
* Participate in the open-source community, sharing our experiences and contributing to careerzynith OSS
* Work closely with engineers, product managers, and technical program managers to drive the success of our data-driven initiatives
**Requirements**
* 2+ years of experience building large-scale distributed systems features or applications
* Proficient in the design and development of RESTful web services
* Experienced in building and operating scalable, fault-tolerant, distributed systems
* Knowledgeable in Java or other object-oriented programming languages
* Comfortable with multi-threading and concurrency
* BS in Computer Science or a related field
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience with cloud-based infrastructure, such as AWS or GCP
* Familiarity with containerization, such as Docker
* Knowledge of data storage systems, such as NoSQL databases
* Experience with data processing frameworks, such as Apache Spark
* Familiarity with DevOps tools, such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD
