Your role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to design and lead informal research, present actionable insights and recommendations to executives and business leaders, and serve as a peer-reviewer and representative for causal research designed by other teams.
**Responsibilities**
As a remote data entry professional, your responsibilities will include:
* Design and lead informal research with the clear goal of answering business questions
* Present and communicate actionable insights and recommendations to executives, business leaders, and cross-functional partners
* Serve as a peer-reviewer and representative for causal research designed by other teams
* Stay up-to-date with advances in the causal inference literature and develop new techniques as appropriate
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and success through data-driven decision making
**Key Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* A Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Applied Data, Machine Learning, or a related field
* Experience with articulating business and product questions, and pulling data from datasets using SQL and statistical tools (e.g., R, SAS, Stata, MATLAB, etc.)
* Internship or experience with data analysis
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner
* Experience with Bayesian hierarchical models, Bayesian Additive Regression Trees (BART), Bayesian Causal Forest (BCF), Gaussian Processes, and Synthetic Control techniques
* Experience designing and studying randomized controlled trials
* Experience designing and studying causal research with the use of observational data
* Experience with statistical data analysis, including linear models, multivariate analysis, stochastic models, and sampling techniques
**Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:
* Experience with data visualization tools and techniques
* Experience with machine learning algorithms and techniques
* Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL
* Experience with data management and warehousing tools and techniques
