Experienced Full Stack Customer Service Representative – Overnight Loan Approvals and Customer Support

You'll be responsible for performing approvals of consumer loans, making payment arrangements, and providing exceptional customer support to our clients. This is a remote position that requires a high level of autonomy, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. **Key Responsibilities** * Make outbound and receive inbound calls to provide exceptional customer support and resolve customer inquiries * Consistently and accurately document all information pertaining to accounts, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements * Use basic business math to solve problems and make informed decisions * Speak clearly, concisely, and effectively, listening to and understanding information and ideas as presented verbally * Maintain a professional demeanor, showing sensitivity, tact, and empathy when interacting with customers * Follow written and/or verbal instructions, adhering to company policies and procedures * Process card payments accurately and efficiently * Perform the initial approval of potential borrowers by thoroughly examining their applications through multiple software systems * Review applicants to evaluate their eligibility for loan and make informed decisions * Follow up with customers to clarify important points and ensure a smooth loan process * Finalize loan details and keep customers informed about rules and obligations * Remain up to speed regarding lending and other financial services, staying informed about industry trends and developments * Create and renew records, ensuring accurate and timely documentation * Identify customer needs, exploring all options available to customers and providing personalized solutions * Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, adapting quickly to changing company needs * Ability to multi-task by speaking with customers and typing notes simultaneously, maintaining a high level of productivity **Essential Qualifications** * High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred * Minimum 1-2 years of customer service experience in a financial services or related industry * Excellent customer service skills, with a strong focus on building rapport and resolving customer complaints * Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner * Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure, navigating tense situations with ease * Proficient with technology, including computers, software applications, and phone systems * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions **Preferred Qualifications** * 2+ years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in a financial services or related industry * Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, finance, or communications * Experience with loan origination, underwriting, or credit analysis * Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook * Familiarity with cloud-based storage and internet applications **Technical Skills** * Proficient use of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook * Proficient user of the internet and cloud-based storage * Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other financial services applications **Working Conditions and Physical Demands** * Must be able to sit for long periods of time, talking and listening constantly * Sitting for extended periods of time * Shift: 11:00 pm to 7:00 am (remote position after initial 1-week training period) * Fully remote after initial 1-week training period (training will be 8am-5pm M-F during 1st week) **Compensation and Benefits** * Competitive salary and benefits package * Opportunities for career growth and professional development * Flexible work arrangements, including remote work options * Comprehensive training program, including onboarding and ongoing support * Access to cutting-edge technology and tools * Collaborative and dynamic work environment **How to Apply** If you're a motivated and customer-focused individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional service, we want to hear from you!
