**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team at careerzynith. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in driving financial reporting and analysis, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data, and providing strategic insights to inform business decisions. **Key Responsibilities**
* Plan and prepare journal entries and monthly account reconciliations for assigned areas of the general ledger
* Be a key owner of the monthly close cycle for careerzynith and external entities for assigned functional areas
* Ensure financial records are maintained for Management and GAAP combined financial statements using accepted methodologies
* Assist in providing expectations to external auditors on annual reviews and quarterly reviews
* Communicate with FP&A, functional partners, and external parties regarding significant accounting matters
* Perform special investigations and projects to further our cycle improvement initiatives

* Sharp business acumen and process-oriented
* Data-driven and unafraid to dig down to the lowest level of detail for truth and a high level of accuracy
* Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, including strong proficiency in English
* Strong analytical and time management skills
* 2+ years of relevant accounting experience
* Strong knowledge of US GAAP, PCAOB principles, SOX/internal controls
* Experience with NetSuite, Coupa, GSuite preferred
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA certification an asset
* Strong Excel skills, with the ability to manage and process large amounts of data
