Our team is passionate about making a difference, and we're excited to welcome like-minded individuals to our family. **Job Summary** As an Insurance Customer Service Representative at careerzynith, you'll be responsible for handling property and casualty (P&C) related customer service and/or billing inquiries and problems via the telephone. You'll provide customers with plan coverage information, quotes, policy changes, and policy change impacts to premium. This is a fantastic opportunity to utilize your insurance expertise, work from home, and make a meaningful impact on our customers' lives. **Key Responsibilities** * Handle property and casualty (P&C) related customer service and/or billing inquiries and problems via the telephone * Provide customers with plan coverage information, quotes, policy changes, and policy change impacts to premium * Review and update policies to enhance retention and better meet the needs of the consumer * Counsel policyholders concerning appropriate coverage, policy limits, payment options, and state laws that will best meet their needs for sufficient protection against risks covered by Property and Casualty insurance * Make appropriate recommendations and/or changes to the policy and gain policyholder acceptance to process the changes * Receive and respond to calls and emails received by the insurance service center, documenting all activity in EPIC * Utilize knowledge of insurance industry and club insurance agency policies and procedures to provide efficient and professional customer service * Provide quotes on endorsements as requested * Identify opportunities to apply discounts, process insurance verification forms for insured, and act as liaison for information exchange between customer and insurance companies * Process changes to policies within EPIC and submit changes to specific companies, following up with company to ensure change requests have been processed in a timely manner * Review policy information and references company-specific claims procedures to assist insured in filing claims * Mail insured documentation to be signed and returned as necessary, following up to ensure documentation has been returned in a timely manner from member/customer * Recognize cross-sell opportunities (membership and insurance) and obtain quote information **What We Offer** * A competitive hourly rate, depending on experience and salary zone * Eligibility for Annual Merit Increase * Comprehensive Health benefits package, including: + Paid Time Off (accruals begin on first day of employment) + 401(k) plan with a company match + Medical, Dental, Prescription, and Vision Coverage + Tuition Reimbursement + Life Insurance + Flexible Spending Accounts * Nearly 4 weeks of paid time off accrued during the first year * Paid time off to volunteer * Tuition reimbursement * 401(K) plan with company match up to 7% * Free AAA Premier Battery Membership **What We Need from You** * High school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of increasingly complex customer service experience in an insurance environment * Property and Casualty insurance license required * Membership license preferred and/or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment **Work Schedule** * Monday - Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. CST with rotating Saturdays with team * Saturday hours would be 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. **Why Join careerzynith?** At careerzynith, we're committed to cultivating a welcoming and inclusive workplace of team members with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
