We take pride in our diverse and inclusive workplace culture, where team members from various backgrounds and experiences come together to achieve our goals. **Job Summary** As an Insurance Customer Service Representative at careerzynith, you will be responsible for handling property & casualty (p&c) related customer service and/or billing inquiries and problems via the telephone. You will provide customers with plan coverage information, quotes, policy changes, and policy change impacts to premium. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of insurance industry policies and procedures, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. **Key Responsibilities** * Handle property & casualty (p&c) related customer service and/or billing inquiries and problems via the telephone * Provide customers with plan coverage information, quotes, policy changes, and policy change impacts to premium * Review and update policies to enhance retention and better meet the needs of the consumer * Counsel policyholders concerning appropriate coverage, policy limits, payment options, and state laws that will best meet their needs for sufficient protection against risks covered by Property and Casualty insurance * Make appropriate recommendations and/or changes to the policy and gain policyholder acceptance to process the changes * Receive and respond to calls and emails received by the insurance service center, documenting all activity (changes to policy, coverage options, recommendations, and cross-selling) in EPIC * Utilize knowledge of insurance industry and club insurance agency policies and procedures to provide efficient and professional customer service * Provide quotes on endorsements as requested * Identify opportunities to apply discounts, process insurance verification forms for insured, and act as liaison for information exchange between customer and insurance companies * Process changes to policies within EPIC and submit changes to specific companies, following up with company to ensure change requests have been processed in a timely manner * Review policy information and references company-specific claims procedures to assist insured in filing claims * Mail insured documentation to be signed and returned as necessary, following up to ensure documentation has been returned in a timely manner from member/customer * Recognize cross-sell opportunities (membership and insurance) and obtain quote information **What We Offer** * A competitive hourly rate, depending on experience and salary zone * Eligibility for Annual Merit Increase * Comprehensive Health benefits package, including Paid Time Off (accruals begin on first day of employment), 401(k) plan with a company match, Medical, Dental, Prescription, and Vision Coverage, Tuition Reimbursement, Life Insurance, and Flexible Spending Accounts * Nearly 4 weeks of paid time off accrued during the first year * Paid time off to volunteer * Tuition reimbursement * 401(K) plan with company match up to 7% * Free careerzynith Premier Battery Membership **Requirements** * High school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of increasingly complex customer service experience in an insurance environment * Property and Casualty insurance license required * Membership license preferred and/or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment **Work Schedule** * Monday - Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. CST with rotating Saturdays with team (Saturday hours would be 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.) **What We Value** * Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: At careerzynith, we are committed to cultivating a welcoming and inclusive workplace of team members with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
