As a remote employee, you'll have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home, while still being part of a dynamic and supportive team. **Responsibilities** As a Licensed Property and Casualty or Personal Lines Insurance Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for: * Fielding inbound communication (phone, email, chat, social media, etc.) from our clients' members regarding their insurance needs * Utilizing knowledge of personal lines insurance to help members with quotes, new business, rating, policy, billing, payment, underwriting, contract, and coverage provisions, and premium changes * Thoroughly understanding the customer's need, asking clarifying questions to gather more information, and utilizing resources to conduct research and present the customer with a resolution * Understanding members' life events that may offer sales cues * Corresponding with customers, clients, insurance carriers, and internal sources to provide coverage information and policy recommendations * Executing various client service transactions, including policy endorsements, certificates, binders, cancellations, or other tasks * Adhering to performance metrics and quality standards * Providing expert recommendations to customers, ensuring they receive the best possible solutions for their insurance needs **Requirements** To be successful in this role, you'll need: * A valid Property and Casualty or Personal Lines Insurance License * A minimum of 1 year of customer service experience * 1 year of call center experience * A High School diploma or GED * Strong written and verbal communication skills * A professional, articulate voice and listening skills * The ability to maintain member privacy * Internet and research skills, with the ability to quickly become an expert in a variety of subjects * Computer savvy, with the ability to resolve minor technical issues with minimal assistance * Typing 25 words per minute with 90% accuracy * The ability to critically think through situations and solutions * A self-motivated and independent work style, with the ability to adhere to assigned schedules with minimal assistance * The ability to multitask in several computer applications at once while holding a conversation with a customer **Work at Home Requirements** As a remote employee, you'll need to meet the following requirements: * High-speed Internet via wired ethernet connection, no Wi-Fi, Satellite, or Cellular Hotspot or Cellular Internet * Upload speed of 5 Mbps; Download speed of 50 Mbps * The Internet service provider (ISP) must be highly stable with 1% or less packet loss Latency under 100ms * An available cell phone or tablet, with the ability to install our required 2FA software for Multifactor authentication on that device * careerzynith will provide all or some of the equipment needed based on the employee's request **Benefits** As an careerzynith employee, you'll enjoy a range of benefits, including: * Competitive wages * Paid time off * Medical, dental benefits, vision, and life & accident insurance for full-time employees * FREE access to personal and professional support through the careerzynith Care Coaches' program * Further your education and earn a college degree through our careerzynith University scholarship program * A dynamic and supportive work environment, with opportunities for career growth and development * A fun and inclusive company culture, with regular team-building activities and social events **Equal Opportunity Statement** careerzynith is an equal opportunity employer.
