**Responsibilities**
As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
* Answering inbound calls regarding billing inquiries, disconnect/reconnect, payment arrangements, budget billings, making payments, processing trouble and outage orders, move-in/out services, and assisting with My Account (online accounts)
* Providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
* Utilizing computer navigation skills to access and manage customer information, as well as multitasking to handle multiple calls and tasks simultaneously
* Maintaining accurate records and documentation, adhering to company policies and procedures
* Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge
**Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* Prior call center experience, with a strong track record of excellent attendance and communication skills
* Proficiency in computer navigation, typing (minimally 35-40 WPM), and multitasking
* Ability to work overtime, including long hours, overnight, and weekends, in the event of a major storm impacting our service territory
* Adherence to a 20-minute daily break and 1-hour lunch schedule
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
**Technical Requirements**
For remote positions, the minimum internet speed requirements are:
* Broadband internet connection (no DSL or dial-up)
* Hard-wired connection required (no Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi hotspots)
* Speed test results: 25 Mbps download, 20 Mbps upload
**Camera Requirements**
Cameras are required to be on during training from start to end of each shift (not including breaks and lunches).
