Our team is led by Fiona Wong, a seasoned expert in the field, with occasional support from her partner, DeShaun. We work with a diverse range of clients, from business owners to educators and government employees, helping them unlock their full potential.
**Key Responsibilities**
As our Virtual Assistant, you'll be responsible for:
* Answering emails within 24 hours, excluding weekends, using training and templates provided
* Editing written content for our blog and newsletter, ensuring grammatical accuracy and American millennial slang familiarity
* Downloading and uploading videos from Zoom, Loom, and other platforms to specified locations, such as Google Drive and Vimeo
* Managing our community, ensuring Fiona responds to posts within three business days and providing customer support as needed
* Communicating with DeShaun regarding financial and billing-related questions
* Performing other tasks as agreed upon and assigned by Fiona
**Software Requirements**
To excel in this role, you should be familiar with the following software:
* ConvertKit: Our email marketing platform for sending newsletters
* Squarespace: Our website and blog management system
* Zoom: Our primary video conferencing platform
* Loom: A video recording and sharing platform (optional)
* Vimeo and Google Drive: Our primary video hosting and storage solutions
* Gmail: Our primary email communication platform
* Heartbeat or Circle: Our community management software (training will be provided)
**Essential Qualifications**
To be considered for this role, you should possess:
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Suite
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Familiarity with American millennial slang and grammar
* Ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems quickly
* Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude
**Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
* Experience in the Human Design or astrology industry
* Certification or degree in a related field (not a requirement, but a plus)
* Familiarity with content management systems and email marketing platforms
* Experience with community management and customer support
**Compensation and Benefits**
As an independent contractor, you'll be paid at a rate of $20/hour, with a cap of $200 (10 hours) per month to start. This will increase over time as your hours grow. You'll be responsible for submitting a timesheet and invoice for payment, which will be made on Fridays. You can choose to receive payment through Venmo, PayPal, or your preferred invoicing software.
