Base Salary Range: $78,000 – $110,000 USD annually (depending on experience, qualifications, schedule, and location)

Jeppesen ForeFlight is seeking experienced Level 3 Flight Dispatchers to join our growing operations team. This role supports a dynamic mix of commercial and government aviation customers in a modern, technology-driven dispatch environment focused on operational excellence, safety, and customer experience.
As a Level 3 Dispatcher, you will play a critical role in real-time flight operations, flight planning, operational control, and customer coordination. The ideal candidate is highly adaptable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where quick decision-making and strong communication are essential.
This position may be performed remotely within the United States or from our Englewood, Colorado operations center. Company-issued hardware and digital tools will be provided to support remote and hybrid work environments.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Shift Operational Readiness
Review dispatcher handoff notes and active operational priorities
Monitor weather systems, NOTAMs, airspace constraints, and operational impacts
Maintain awareness of evolving procedures, dispatch workflows, and platform updates
Prepare for upcoming operational demands through proactive planning and coordination
Flight Planning & Live Flight Operations
Manage incoming trip requests through company dispatch platforms
Develop, optimize, and release compliant flight plans based on operational requirements and customer preferences
Evaluate aircraft readiness, maintenance status, MEL/CDL restrictions, and operational limitations
Support complex domestic and international multi-leg itineraries
File and manage ATC flight plans, routing revisions, and acknowledgments
Monitor active flights and provide real-time operational support to flight crews
Continuously assess weather, routing, fuel, and operational risks
Coordinate operational changes and communicate updates proactively to crews and stakeholders
Customer & Operational Support
Deliver professional preflight and enroute briefings to flight crews
Support both commercial and military/government flight operations
Coordinate overflight permits, landing permits, and diplomatic clearances as required
Maintain awareness of international restrictions, sanctioned regions, and geopolitical operational impacts
Provide responsive, customer-focused operational support during all phases of flight
Operational Excellence & Compliance
Maintain accurate dispatch documentation, operational logs, and billing-related time tracking
Conduct quality assurance checks on dispatch outputs for accuracy and regulatory compliance
Document irregular operations and participate in Safety Management System (SMS) reporting processes
Collaborate with internal engineering, product, and operations teams to improve workflows and system performance
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the dispatch organization
Irregular Operations & Emergency Response
Support flight crews during diversions, emergencies, and other irregular operations
Execute established escalation procedures and communication protocols
Serve as a central coordination point for time-critical operational decision-making
Ensure operational incidents are documented appropriately within SMS processes
Work Environment
Operate within a 24/7 dispatch environment with rotating shifts, including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays
Collaborate across distributed operational teams using digital communication and dispatch tools
Participate in recurrent dispatcher training, certification programs, and safety initiatives
Work within a highly collaborative, technology-forward operational culture
Basic Qualifications
FAA Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate (required)
Previous professional flight dispatch experience, preferably in Part 121, Part 135, military, or international operations
Strong situational awareness and decision-making skills in time-sensitive operational environments
Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
Proficiency with modern dispatch systems, operational software, and digital collaboration tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting international and government flight operations
Familiarity with ETOPS, oceanic operations, and international permit coordination
Knowledge of SMS reporting processes and operational risk management
Experience in technology-enabled or digital-first operational environments
