We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Google Cloud Engineer to support a growing multi-cloud environment spanning Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This is a remote role focused on both technical implementation and strategic cloud enablement.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in GCP while also possessing broad multi-cloud experience. This individual will play a key role in helping mature cloud capabilities, establish governance and standards, and provide technical leadership and knowledge transfer to internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, implement, and support cloud solutions across GCP, AWS, Azure, and OCI environments
• Serve as the subject matter expert for Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Lead technical discussions related to cloud architecture, strategy, governance, and best practices
• Provide hands-on engineering support for cloud deployments, migrations, automation, and operational initiatives
• Develop and help enforce cloud standards, governance models, and operational procedures
• Collaborate with internal teams to educate and mentor resources on GCP capabilities and cloud-native practices
• Perform knowledge transfer sessions and provide technical guidance where applicable
• Support infrastructure modernization and cloud optimization initiatives
• Assist with cloud security, scalability, reliability, and cost-management best practices
Required Qualifications
• Strong expert-level experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Proven hands-on engineering experience in cloud implementation and operations
• Experience working within multi-cloud environments including AWS, Azure, OCI, and GCP
• Deep understanding of cloud architecture, governance, and operational best practices
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience developing cloud standards, policies, and governance frameworks
• Strong troubleshooting, automation, and infrastructure deployment skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
