The Healthcare Copywriter reports to the Director, Member Engagement & Communications and is responsible for developing and managing corporate communications and member-facing content that educate and inform individuals about their health benefits.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) and four (4) to six (6) years of work experience in copywriting, content marketing, or corporate communications for healthcare or employee benefits, preferred
• Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written) is required; experience in bilingual copywriting preferred
• Strong copywriting skills with experience crafting compelling marketing copy
• Professional portfolio showcasing compelling copywriting and marketing work capabilities
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail
• Excellent oral communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to simplify complex topics into engaging, easy-to-understand content
• Strong understanding of health literacy, best practices, and experience writing for diverse populations
• Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and content management systems (CMS); familiarity with marketing automation, preferred
• Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements related to healthcare communications, preferred
• Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices, email marketing, and digital content best practices is a plus
