About NeedTech Labs
NeedTech Labs is an AI-first venture creation platform. We identify necessity-driven business opportunities, score them through our proprietary InnovaRate™ methodology, and package them as IP-protected, GTM-ready ventures — what we call Startup-in-a-Box (SIB). We then match these ventures with experienced operators who acquire and run them.
We're early-stage, founder-led, and building this category from the ground up. This is one of our first US sales hires.
The Role
We're hiring a high-ticket closer to own conversions on our SIB ventures. Average selling price is $60K. You'll work inbound only — every day you get a fresh list of qualified leads who have already shown intent and completed a comprehensive questionnaire before you ever pick up the phone. No cold outreach. No prospecting.
Your buyer is a senior operator — typically a former or current C-Suite executive evaluating their next venture. You're not pitching a product; you're helping someone make a meaningful career and capital decision.
This is missionary sales. Our category is new. Most prospects have never seen a model like ours, so every call involves real education — not pitch-and-close. You're teaching, framing, and helping serious operators understand whether a SIB is the right next move for them. If you want comfortable, mature, well-understood sales, this won't be a fit.
What you'll do
• Run consultative discovery and closing calls with pre-qualified inbound leads (provided daily)
• Educate prospects on the SIB model, the InnovaRate™ scoring, and how operator-venture fit is determined
• Move qualified buyers through a structured assessment and closing framework
• Maintain disciplined pipeline hygiene and accurate weekly forecasts
• Give the founders clean signal back from the field — objections, lead quality, what's landing, what isn't
• Hit and exceed quota
What we're looking for
• 5+ years closing software/technology deals to C-Suite executives in the $50K–$250K range, ideally in startup or SaaS environments
• Demonstrable track record selling something the market didn't already know it wanted — category creation, new product launches, or other missionary sales contexts
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable speaking with CEOs, founders, owners, investors.
• Consultative selling instincts: you teach, you don't pitch; you disqualify ruthlessly when needed
• Comfortable operating in an early-stage environment where the playbook is still being written and you're expected to help shape it
• US-based, able to cover US business hours across all time zones
• Set up to invoice as an independent contractor (sole proprietor, single-member LLC, S-corp, etc.)
Compensation
• Monthly base retainer
• Generous uncapped commission on closed deals
• Annual performance bonus tied to defined success metrics
• Paid against invoice as a 1099 independent contractor
• Full comp structure discussed in the first interview
Setup
• 100% remote, US-based
• Independent contractor engagement (1099) — you invoice us monthly; you handle your own taxes, benefits, and business setup
• Reports directly to the founders
• Daily qualified lead flow, structured assessment framework, founders' support on every meaningful deal
