HR Business Partner, EdTech (US)

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) plays a critical role in running and optimizing talent management programs in support of the business unit, acting as a strategic consultant and trusted partner in support of all types of HR related matters. The HRBP is a self-starter, able to work with a high degree of initiative, and is comfortable with a blend of hands-on execution and forward-thinking strategic leadership. In this role, the HRBP • Partners with employees, supervisors, managers and directors in providing day-to-day leadership and solutions to Business Unit HR needs • Works closely with leadership and HR team to ensure their business unit is appropriately resourced and prepared to support business objectives • Drives the Talent Management agenda, ensuring that internal talent health and development is always at the forefront • Leverages metrics, identifies problem areas within the business unit, develops and executes strategies to rectify issues, improve employee engagement and drive business outcomes Requirements: • University/college degree or diploma in Human Resources or a related field • Minimum of 8 years’ progressive experience working in a manager role • Strong Knowledge of state Employment Standards legislation, Human Rights and Health and Safety legislation • Experience in dealing with large client base • Ideally experience with Sales or Services teams in Tech/SaaS companies Location: Remote, candidates must live in US, able to work Eastern time zone Salary: $120-125K plus benefits Job Category: Human Resources Job Type: External Job Location: United States Job Market: Higher Education
