HRIS Project Manager (HCM / HR Transformation)

Job Title: HRIS Project Manager (HCM / HR Transformation) Location: Remote (as per client requirement) Duration: Contract (Long-term) Experience Level: 10+ Years Role Overview We are seeking an experienced HRIS Project Manager to lead enterprise HR technology initiatives, including system implementations, process transformation, and stakeholder alignment. This role will act as the internal project lead , driving collaboration between business stakeholders, IT teams, and system integrators to deliver scalable HR solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in HR processes, HCM systems, and project governance , along with strong executive communication skills and the ability to manage complex, cross-functional programs. Key Responsibilities Project Leadership & Delivery • Lead end-to-end HRIS / HCM project execution, from planning through delivery • Define and maintain • Project charter • Project plans • Scope and requirements documentation • Ensure alignment with business goals and timelines Stakeholder Management • Conduct workshops and meetings with: • Business stakeholders • System integrators • HR leadership teams • Communicate project vision and progress to C-level executives • Manage expectations and ensure stakeholder alignment HR Process Mapping & Design • Collaborate with HR teams to: • Map current and future-state HR processes • Apply industry best practices for system design and implementation • Ensure solutions align with organizational needs Implementation Oversight • Orchestrate work across: • Implementation partners • Internal IT teams • Track deliverables, milestones, and dependencies • Ensure high-quality and timely project execution Governance & Documentation • Maintain: • Backlogs • Change requests • Agreements and approvals • Manage scope changes through formal change control processes • Ensure proper documentation and audit readiness Innovation & AI Enablement (Preferred) • Support or lead AI-driven HR initiatives • Identify opportunities to enhance HR processes using automation and AI tools Required Qualifications • 10+ years of experience as: • HRIS Project Manager OR • HCM Project Manager • Strong understanding of • Core HR processes (hire-to-retire lifecycle) • HR systems and implementations • Proven experience managing • Large-scale HR transformation projects • Excellent • Communication skills • Stakeholder management abilities (including C-suite) • Strong experience in • Project planning and governance Preferred Qualifications • Experience with leading HCM platforms such as: • Workday • SAP SuccessFactors • Oracle HCM • Experience working with system integrators • Exposure to AI/automation in HR systems • Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project methodologies
