**Responsibilities**
As a Customer Development Insights Manager, you will be responsible for developing strategic business opportunities for Costco Wholesale. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Providing insights pertaining to current business trends and recommendations on future developments and customer forecasting
* Building out weekly communication to the Costco Team and careerzynith Leadership by pulling data and building an executive summary on key insights or changes to business
* Assisting in building out customer presentations designed to target and increase sales results and consumer penetration
* Providing recommendations to grow both our current business and the department simultaneously
* Collaborating with internal HQ category, Sales Strategy, and Marketing on new item development and sell stories based on customer level category insights
* Managing the new item setup process and tracking and analyzing new item introductions
* Providing weekly updates on Costco Business internally up to careerzynith Leadership
* Owning the weekly Costco Meeting to review WOS and inventory changes/challenges
* Running weekly CRX/IRI reports for Costco Team and providing key insights on data
* Maintaining price value audits for customer reporting and internal channel management
* Competitive analysis with report out both internally and externally
* Engaging Costco external partners to maintain programs and program development and partnerships
* Attending all Costco Meetings to provide insights as needed
**Qualifications**
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual with a strong background in sales, customer insights, and data analysis. The ideal candidate will have:
* A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
* 3+ years of relevant sales experience within the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industry
* Previous experience working on Costco projects/Support is preferred
* Experience with data analytic and systems (IRI)
* Proficient experience with reporting tools and platforms, Excel, and reporting analytics
* Financial impact analysis / ROI reporting
* Effective short- and long-term forecasting capabilities
* Experience in demand forecasting
**Skills**
The successful candidate will possess:
* A willingness to travel up to 30% (if not in WA), 20% if in WA
* Independent, self-driven individual with the ability to build vs. manage
* Collaborative teamwork and alignment
* Creative approach with a desire for continuous improvement
* Expertise in sales and category management within CPG
* Proficient in data-driven decision-making and strategic planning
