Contract Instructional Designer (Remote | 1–3 Month Project)
Are you an experienced Instructional Designer who thrives on transforming outdated content into modern, engaging learning experiences? We’re partnering with a leading organization to bring on contract talent (1–3 months) to support a high-visibility training transformation project.
This is a fully remote opportunity where you’ll have the chance to make an immediate impact by helping redesign and streamline a large-scale sales training program.
What You’ll Be Working On
This project is focused on revamping and modernizing training content—not delivering training sessions. You’ll play a key role in:
Auditing and consolidating existing training materials into a clean, organized structure
Redesigning eLearning content and creating scalable templates (Storyline & Rise)
Partnering with stakeholders and SMEs to refine learning objectives
Supporting the transition of training content and resources into updated systems
Creating polished, reusable assets like playbooks, job aids, coaching guides, and reference materials
Helping shape a more impactful and streamlined new hire sales learning experience
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of Instructional Design experience (strong preference for mid-to-senior level)
Hands-on expertise with Articulate Storyline and/or Rise
Strong background in needs analysis, content audits, and curriculum design
Experience working with ADDIE, SAM, or similar instructional design frameworks
Ability to take ambiguous or complex content and turn it into structured, engaging learning experiences
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple workstreams independently
Exposure to sales training content or business-focused learning programs is a plus

This is a Contract position based out of Chicago, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $65.00/hr.
