Job Description
We are hiring multiple Software Engineers (Mid & Senior) to support the Hiring Events platform, a live, high-traffic production system. This team is responsible for diagnosing and resolving issues impacting active hiring events, ensuring system reliability, and maintaining strong client satisfaction.
This is a production-heavy, ownership-driven role requiring engineers who can quickly ramp, operate independently, and drive issue resolution across backend, frontend, and integrations.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, triage, and resolve production issues impacting live hiring events
Monitor system health and respond to alerts or performance degradation
Partner with Client Support and GTM teams to resolve high-priority tickets
Debug cross-system issues across backend services, frontend apps, and integrations
Ensure SLA adherence for issue resolution and platform stability
Maintain and update event logic as system dependencies evolve
Support platform integrations, migrations, and architecture updates
Contribute to build, release, and deployment processes
Required Skills & Experience
Core Stack
Backend (Priority):
Java + Spring Boot (Primary)
Python (Django) (Secondary)
Frontend: React
Messaging: Kafka
APIs: GraphQL
Databases: SQL and/or MongoDB
Engineering Fundamentals
Build and deployment experience
Strong debugging and production troubleshooting skills
Ability to work across distributed systems and integrations
Experience Level
Mid-Level: 3–5 years
Senior: 5+ years, with leadership and onboarding capability
Additional Experience (at least one)
Dagster, Data Lakes, or Amazon Athena
