Java Web Developer ( Remote Need only W2 )

Java Web Developer Virginia (Remote) 12 months Contract with possibility to extension Key Skills: J2EE/Websphere Portal/JSF Hibernate Roles and Responsibilities: • Designs systems and programs to meet complex business needs. Prepare detailed program specifications. Ensure programs meet standards and technical specifications; performs technical analysis and component delivery. • Codes, tests, debug, implements, and documents moderately to complex programs. • Creates appropriate documentation in work assignments such as program code, and technical documentation. • Gathers information from existing systems, analyzes program and time requirements. • Assists project manager in preparing time estimates and justification for assigned tasks. • Assists support and/or project personnel in resolving moderately complex program problems. Works with client and management to resolve issues and validate programming requirements within their areas of responsibility. • Provides technical advice on complex programming. • Develops test plans to verify logic of new or modified programs. • Conducts quality assurance activities such as peer reviews. • Provide On-call production support • Other duties as assigned by management Basic Qualifications for Consideration: • Experience in Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) • Seasoned Development professional with three to five (5-8+) years of development exposure in J2EE based Web related technology. • Strong Portal developer using WebSphere Portal • Hands on Exposure to JSF /Hibernate and integration experience with other applications • 3+ Years of experience in Angular JS technologies and Bootstrap • 4+ Years of experience in Spring Boot and Spring frameworks • 3+ Years of experience in Jenkins related build technologies • 3+ years of experience in micro services architecture • Experience with JSR 168 Portlets/ Java Specifications Request 168 Portlets • Experience with JSF Portlets/ Java Server Faces • Hands-on design experience using Unified Modeling Language (UML). • Hands-on experience using development tools (e.g. WID, RAD, Eclipse) • Agile Development Experience • DB2/Oracle Experience • Should have strong object-oriented development skills. • Should be able to work independently as well as in a team environment. • Should have experience in heavy Transaction Processing and Transaction Management. • Should have strong verbal and written communication skills and must be currently eligible to work for any employer in the United States • Must consent to, and successfully clear all required pre-employment screening 6 + Years of Overall IT Experience.
