Job Title: Lead Program Manager
Location: Remote / Washington DC
Summary: Seeking experienced Microsoft 365 professionals to support enterprise-level operations, modernization, and enhancement initiatives within a secure cloud environment. The role involves administration, development, security, compliance, collaboration tools, and operational support across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Azure, Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange, Intune, Power Platform, and related technologies in a hybrid environment.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage end-to-end program delivery across multiple Microsoft 365 initiatives and concurrent workstreams
Serve as the primary Point of Contact (POC) for Government Program Managers, CORs, and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with program objectives and QASP standards
Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, milestones, resource plans, and implementation roadmaps
Oversee staffing, cross-functional teams, and continuity of operations to ensure successful project execution
Collaborate with stakeholders and System Owners to define user stories, acceptance criteria, product roadmaps, and implementation strategies
Manage project execution using Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, GitHub Projects, and ServiceNow to track progress, dependencies, and deliverables
Prepare and deliver executive briefings, dashboards, status reports, and presentations for leadership and stakeholders
Lead stakeholder meetings, sprint reviews, governance sessions, and organizational change management activities
Monitor Microsoft 365 roadmap updates, release cycles, and feature changes to assess impacts and implement mitigation or upgrade strategies
Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies while recommending corrective actions and mitigation plans
Ensure all project documentation, testing plans, architectural designs, and implementation activities are completed in alignment with federal IT governance, security, and compliance standards
Requirements:
8+ years of experience in IT delivery, large-scale system implementations, and Microsoft 365 deployments
5+ years of experience leading software implementation, integration, maintenance, and modernization projects
Proven experience managing cross-functional teams across analysis, design, testing, integration, documentation, conversion, and implementation activities
Strong experience in program/project management, stakeholder engagement, and executive-level reporting
Experience with Agile project management methodologies and collaboration tools including Jira, GitHub Projects, and ServiceNow
Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 platforms, cloud modernization, governance, compliance, and Zero Trust principles
Excellent communication, organizational, leadership, and risk management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting Federal Government environment
PMP, Agile, Scrum, or related project management certification
Experience managing Microsoft Power Platform initiatives
Knowledge of federal IT security, accessibility, and compliance requirements
