Job Description:
• Handle a mix of inbound billing inquiries and outbound payment follow ups.
• Maintain organized billing records and support workflow improvements.
• Review attorney time entries and prepare accurate billing reports.
• Respond to billing inquiries and communicate professionally with clients.
• Follow up on past due balances, collections, and payment plans.
• Monitor client retainers and send replenishment requests when balances are low.
• Manage billing, invoices, trust balances, and payment records in Clio.
Requirements:
• Detail oriented with strong accuracy in financial data.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive billing discussions with discretion.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple deadlines.
• Strong understanding of trust accounting and legal billing compliance.
• Comfortable working remotely and collaborating with attorneys and staff.
• Confident handling both inbound and outbound client calls.
• Bilingual English Spanish communication proficiency.
• Experience in legal billing, preferably in family law.
