Pre-Licensed Psychologist (Ph.D., PsyD) – Limited Permit (NY), Fee-for-Service | Remote Overview We are a New York–based, affirmative and inclusive private practice providing psychotherapy to adults across New York State. Our work is grounded in cross-cultural, social justice–informed, and strength-based care. We are seeking pre-licensed psychologists (Ph.D. or PsyD) with a Limited Permit in New York State who are looking for a psychotherapy-focused role with strong referrals, flexible scheduling, and supervision toward licensure. This is a remote, fee-for-service position with practice-provided clients, no requirement to self-market, and full control over your schedule. Ideal Candidates We are especially interested in clinicians who: • Are seeking 20+ clinical hours per week, and/or • Have availability for evenings and/or weekends • Want to build a consistent caseload with practice support Supervision & Licensure Support • Supervision provided by two licensed psychologists • Meets requirements for New York State licensure • Designed for clinicians actively working toward independent licensure What We Offer • Consistent referrals provided, no need to find your own clients • Flexible schedule, set your own hours • Fully remote (telehealth) with optional in-person opportunities over time • Administrative, billing, credentialing, and marketing support • Collaborative, supportive clinical and supervisory environment • Ability to work with diverse client populations aligned with your interests Long-Term Opportunity: We believe in supporting clinicians if they were to decide to open their own practice. For this reason, after 2 years, clinicians may have the opportunity to transition with their caseload, supporting long-term independence and continuity of care. Compensation • Fee-for-service (1099 contractor) • $80/session (first 90 days onboarding) • $100/session ongoing following the onboarding period • Biweekly payments • No minimum session requirement Of note, typical earning potential varies based on caseload and availability (e.g., 20–25 sessions/week = ~$80K–$140K+ per year). Responsibilities • Provide individual psychotherapy • Maintain timely clinical documentation • Deliver evidence-based, culturally responsive care • Conduct sessions via secure telehealth platform • Collaborate with team as needed Requirements • Active, unrestricted Limited Permit in New York required • Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or PsyD) in psychology or related field • Actively working toward NYS licensure • Malpractice insurance • Strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and cultural humility We encourage applications from BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, bilingual, and bicultural clinicians.
