Manager, Manufacturing Engineering - Label Operations

Work Schedule Standard (Mon-Fri) Environmental Conditions Office Job Description Join our team as a Labeling Operations Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where you'll contribute to global healthcare and scientific advancement. In this leadership role, you'll be responsible to build and direct a team of project managers, systems specialists, and design professionals to manage print-on-demand label operations for the Filtration & Separation Division. As a global leader, you'll have responsibility for the deployment & administration of a global labeling solution for the division. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, engage with global operations, and provide leadership for a global systems platform for the division. REQUIREMENTS:  Advanced Degree plus 6 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of experience in operations or related fields  Preferred Fields of Study: Engineering (Packaging, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, tec...) or related STEM field of study (Chemistry, Pharmacy, Related scientific discipline) 2+ years of people management/leadership experience  Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing teams  Strong knowledge of quality systems and regulatory standards  Excellent project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities  Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities for process improvement initiatives  Advanced communication skills for interfacing with internal teams and external customers  Experience with print-on-demand labeling solutions, with a preference for Loftware solutions  Proven track record in implementing cost-saving and efficiency improvements  Ability to develop and maintain strong cross-functional relationships  Experience with change management and continuous improvement methodologies  Proficiency in analyzing data and metrics to drive operational excellence  Strong understanding of packaging and labeling processes, materials, and industry requirements  Experience with documentation and SOP compliance in regulated environments  Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance Compensation and Benefits The salary range estimated for this position based in Minnesota is $103,100.00–$154,700.00. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
