GD Resources LLC is seeking qualified Medical Interpreters and Translators to support healthcare facilities across the Western United States. Interpreters and translators will provide in-person, telephonic, video, and document translation services to ensure effective communication between healthcare providers and patients.
• This role is ideal for certified medical interpreters who are professional, reliable, and committed to delivering accurate, culturally competent language services in clinical settings.
• Key Responsibilities
• Provide accurate medical interpretation and translation for patient care encounters
• Interpret and translate:
• Medical terminology
• Diagnoses, treatments, and procedures
• Medication names and dosage instructions
• Informed consent discussions
• Deliver services through:
• In-person assignments
• Telephonic interpretation
• Video remote interpretation (VRI)
• Written document translation
• Arrive at least 10 minutes early for scheduled in-person assignments
• Maintain a professional demeanor, confidentiality, and ethical standards
• Ensure punctuality, reliability, and clear communication
• Use human interpretation only (machine translation is not permitted)
• Protect patient privacy and comply with all security and confidentiality requirements

• Certification from one or more of the following (or equivalent):
• State Interpreter Certification / National Center for State Courts
• National Board of Certification for Medical Interpreters (NBCMI)
• National Council on Interpreting in Health Care (NCIHC)
• Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR)
• Ability to work in clinical and sensitive healthcare environments
• Strong professionalism, ethics, and cultural competence
• Compliance & Security Requirements
• Ability to complete privacy and information security training
• Commitment to strict HIPAA and confidentiality compliance
• Must not use personal or employer equipment to access restricted healthcare networks
• Must follow records management and data protection requirements
