We’re looking for motivated, patient‑focused professionals to join our team as Call Center Patient Service Representatives.
A Day in the Life of a Call Center Patient Service Representative may look like this:
Provides initial customer service to all Patient Navigation Center contacts for multiple Lone Star Circle of Care (LSCC) service lines
Performs insurance verification or sliding fee program screenings for patients in accordance with LSCC guidelines
Assesses patient requests and implied needs, using probing and clarifying questions
Assists patients with scheduling, confirmations, cancellations and rescheduling of appointments
We ask our Call Center Patient Service Representatives to possess a minimum of:
High school diploma or GED preferred; additional work experience may be substituted in lieu of education
Minimum of one (1) year of customer service experience
Excellent computer skills and the ability to learn new computer programs efficiently
The following experience/skills are preferred:
Six (6) months prior medical office or healthcare setting experience
Minimum three (3) months call center experience
Bilingual English/Spanish language and writing skills
