Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated individual to manage a low-supervision pretrial caseload. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate client records, monitoring court activity, and ensuring timely communication with clients regarding court obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Open and maintain client cases in the database
• Verify and update client contact information
• Enter and update court hearing dates
• Ensure all pretrial clients receive timely court date reminders
• Conduct criminal history checks as required
• Prepare and submit detailed court reports for new criminal charges
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Social Work, Psychology, or a related human services field
• Successful completion of a pre-employment background check conducted by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension
• Valid Minnesota or Wisconsin driver’s license and access to an insured vehicle
• Ability to obtain Certified Pretrial Services Professional (CPSP) certification within six months of employment

Core Competencies:
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word, and Excel)
• Ability to communicate professionally and accurately, both verbally and in writing
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to multitask and work independently
• Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse economic, racial, and ethnic backgrounds
• Fluency in Spanish, Somali, or Hmong (spoken and written) preferred
• Experience working with criminal justice-involved clients preferred
Work Arrangement:
• Primarily remote
• Required: 2 weeks of in-person training at the Ramsey County office
• Must attend occasional in-person team meetings
