Description:
• Influence and drive technical direction across the AI Context platform, spanning ingestion, processing, storage, synchronization, reliability, and intelligence surfaces.
• Own and deliver large, high-impact initiatives end to end in complex and ambiguous technical environments.
• Define reusable platform patterns across ingestion, processing, quality, synchronization, and observability.
• Guide architecture for large-scale, fault-tolerant, cost-efficient systems that operate at very high event volumes.
• Align platform architecture with HubSpot’s CRM, AI/ML, and extensibility goals.
• Partner with product and engineering leadership to define strategy, scope opportunities, and execute product-line-wide outcomes.
• Provide technical mentorship through design reviews, incident postmortems, and architectural decisions.
• Contribute deeply to the systems you influence rather than only producing prototypes.
• Move quickly across unfamiliar domains and make meaningful contributions to new stacks, models, or organizational challenges.
• Help elevate HubSpot’s internal and external engineering reputation through knowledge sharing and technical leadership.
Requirements:
• Proven track record of delivering projects with significant product-line or company-level impact.
• Experience operating and evolving large-scale distributed systems.
• Comfort designing for availability, throughput, latency, and cost efficiency at scale.
• Ability to work effectively in ambiguous or complex technical environments.
• Strong architectural thinking and execution ability.
• Experience with AI/ML systems or strong AI/ML fluency.
• Recognized technical mentor and trusted contributor in design reviews and postmortems.
• Ability to collaborate closely with product and engineering leadership.
• Ability to rapidly learn new domains, tech stacks, and organizational contexts.
• Eligible roles may include annual bonus targets, on-target commission, equity through RSUs, or overtime pay; compensation is tailored to skills and experience.
