Product Owner/Product Manager

Job Title: Application Product Owner / Product Manager Location: Remote Duration: Long Term Job Description We are seeking a mid-to-senior level Salesforce Application Product Owner to support a government-based application focused on licensing, inventory tracking, and regulatory operations. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders and development teams to drive product strategy, manage backlog, and deliver high-quality solutions in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Product Ownership, stakeholder management, and Agile delivery, along with the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment. Key Responsibilities • Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business priorities • Define product vision, roadmap, and release plans • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and validate business requirements • Write and refine user stories with clear acceptance criteria • Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, stand-ups, and retrospectives • Act as the primary liaison between business teams, developers, and project leadership • Support user acceptance testing, defect management, and release coordination • Maintain documentation including requirements, RTM, and project artifacts • Identify risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities, and communicate them effectively Required Qualifications • 7+ years of experience in Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar roles • Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum environments • Proven experience managing product backlogs and prioritizing features • Hands-on experience writing user stories and defining acceptance criteria • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills • Ability to work independently and drive initiatives end-to-end Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Salesforce platform (highly preferred) • Experience with Azure DevOps for backlog and project tracking • Familiarity with release management tools such as Copado • Experience with regulatory, licensing, or inventory management systems • Prior experience in government or public sector environments Technical Environment Salesforce, Azure DevOps, Copado, API integrations, and test automation tools
