Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and process data to ensure accuracy and compliance with data protection and privacy regulations
- Develop and maintain data protection and privacy policies and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement data protection and privacy solutions
- Provide training and support to colleagues on data protection and privacy best practices
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data protection and privacy
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in a STEM-related field, with a focus on data protection and privacy
- Strong understanding of data protection and privacy requirements and policies, both locally and globally
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with all levels of management
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment with strict deadlines, and to handle multiple tasks concurrently
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
- CISA certification
- Knowledge of computer networking principles and protocols, and network security
- Knowledge of security engineering and architecture principles
- Knowledge of cryptography and cryptographic key control principles
- Ability to interpret noncompliance and determine its impact on risk and/or overall effectiveness of the organization's cybersecurity program
- Hands-on experience with data protection and privacy vendors, tools, and products
