Sales Director, Media Accounts

Job Description About this job NIQ Media is seeking a Business Development Director to drive net-new revenue across media agencies and advertisers in the US. This is a pure new business (“hunter”) role focused on acquiring and growing relationships within agency holding companies and independent agencies, with a focus on activation and measurement solutions.  This individual will lead efforts to embed NIQ audience and purchase data into agency planning, activation, and measurement workflows, while also driving adoption across the broader programmatic ecosystem (DSPs, SSPs, and data platforms). The goal is to increase the usage and monetization of NIQ audiences within agency-led campaigns.  The ideal candidate is a highly proactive seller with deep expertise in agency sales, programmatic activation, and data-driven media, and a proven ability to build pipeline and close new business in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.  Responsibilities: Drive net-new business across media agencies, including holding companies and independent agencies  Prospect, build, and convert pipeline within agency planning, activation, and investment teams  Position NIQ audience data within agency workflows, ensuring adoption across campaign planning, targeting, and measurement  Evangelize NIQ data within agency ecosystems to increase activation through DSPs, SSPs, and data marketplaces  Identify and unlock activation opportunities, ensuring NIQ audiences are scaled across programmatic campaigns  Own the full sales cycle, from outreach and solutioning through deal negotiation and close  Translate agency needs into data-driven solutions, connecting insights to activation and measurable outcomes  Partner cross-functionally with Product, Partnerships, and Customer Success teams to support activation use cases (e.g., clean rooms, retail media, offsite targeting)  Deliver compelling presentations and thought leadership tailored to agency stakeholders  Achieve and exceed new business revenue targets, with a focus on early-stage expansion within agency accounts    Qualifications 8+ years of experience in media sales, agency sales, adtech, or data/measurement solutions  Proven success selling into media agencies (holding companies and/or independent agencies)  Strong understanding of agency planning and buying processes, including activation and measurement workflows  Experience with programmatic ecosystem (DSPs, SSPs, data providers) and how data is activated within campaigns  Background in selling audience data, targeting solutions, or measurement capabilities  Established relationships across agency investment, activation, and data/analytics teams  Proven track record of net-new business acquisition and pipeline development  Strong communication, storytelling, and negotiation skills  Highly self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment  Preferred:  Experience with identity, data onboarding, clean rooms, or retail media networks  Familiarity with data monetization strategies within agency and programmatic environments  US Benefits Comprehensive healthcare plan (medical, Rx, dental, and vision).
