Sales Manager - PV Inverters

Senior Sales Manager – Utility-Scale Solar Location Remote (US) Overview Electria is supporting a leading power electronics and energy infrastructure provider in identifying a Senior Sales Manager to drive utility-scale solar sales across North America. This role is focused on developing strategic client relationships, originating new project opportunities, and delivering commercial growth across a defined territory. Key Responsibilities • Develop and execute account strategies across utilities, IPPs, and EPCs • Build relationships with key decision-makers and influencers • Identify and pursue new utility-scale solar project opportunities • Own and manage a robust sales pipeline and forecasting process • Lead the preparation and delivery of commercial and technical proposals • Present solutions to clients, partners, and at industry events • Drive deal strategy and lead contract negotiations • Provide pre-sales technical support, including specification and proposal review • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners • Track market trends, competitor activity, and client requirements Profile • Proven experience in B2B technical sales within energy or infrastructure • Direct experience selling into utility-scale solar markets • Strong understanding of EPC, utility, and IPP procurement processes • Track record of closing multi-million-dollar project sales • Commercially driven with strong negotiation and presentation skills • Ability to manage long-cycle, complex sales processes Preferred Background • Experience selling photovoltaic inverters or power electronics • Established relationships with utilities, EPCs, or developers • Engineering background (electrical or mechanical preferred) Why This Role • Exposure to large-scale renewable energy projects • Ownership of key client relationships and revenue growth • Opportunity to operate in a rapidly scaling market • Five weeks PTO
