Senior Account Executive- Transportation Finance

Senior Account Executive – Equipment Leasing (Transportation / Vocational Trucks) Location: Open (Regional Market Focus) | Full-Time | Remote/Field-Based (Strong preference for Southern California, Texas, Illinois, Minnesota) Overview: A leading national transportation lessor is seeking a results-driven Senior Account Executive (Business Development Officer) to expand its footprint in the truck and trailer leasing/financing space, with a strong emphasis on vocational trucks. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and grow new business within the transportation leasing sector, specifically targeting vocational trucks and trailers. • Leverage existing relationships with dealers, OEMs, and end-users to generate lease and finance opportunities. • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing relationships from origination through deal close. • Collaborate with internal underwriting, credit, and operations teams to deliver seamless transactions. • Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and industry trends to tailor financing solutions. • Meet or exceed sales targets through proactive prospecting, networking, and strategic account management. • Represent the organization at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings as a trusted partner. • Track sales pipeline activity and maintain accurate records in CRM systems. Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience in equipment leasing/financing, preferably within transportation or vocational assets. • Strong existing network of dealers, OEMs, and/or end-users in the truck/trailer space. • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets. • In-depth understanding of lease structures, credit processes, and transportation asset values. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. • Self-starter with the ability to operate independently in a regional or remote setting. Compensation & Benefits: • Base salary up to $150,000 • Uncapped commission with realistic earning potential of $225,000–$300,000+ • Competitive benefits package and support from a reputable national platform
