Job Description: Short Description: Business SME - Senior Complete Description Duties and Responsibilities: Highly experienced and knowledgeable Business Subject Matter Expert to provide expert guidance and insights into various aspects of business operations, strategy, and industry trends. This role requires a deep understanding of business principles, coupled with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to stakeholders at all levels. • Serve as the primary point of contact for all business-related inquiries and discussions. • Provide expert guidance and advice on business strategy, operations, and processes. • Conduct in-depth analysis of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business solutions. • Lead and facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to communicate key insights and recommendations. • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and innovations that may impact the business landscape. Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics or a related field OR The equivalent combination of education and successful work experience Qualifications: • Proven experience as a Business SME or similar role, with a minimum of 10 years in a senior leadership position • Extensive knowledge of business principles, including finance, marketing, operations, and strategic planning. • Experience providing consulting services to governmental entities related to specific technologies or field of specialization. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels. • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of successfully driving business initiatives and projects. • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. • Relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Project Management) are preferred. Technical Skills: • Proven experience as a Business SME or similar role, in a senior leadership position.
