Job Description:
• Execute purchase orders based on demand forecasts, production schedules, and inventory levels
• Source and purchase raw materials, components, and strategic commodities to support production requirements
• Identify and evaluate suppliers; negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts
• Monitor supplier performance, including on-time delivery (OTD), and drive corrective actions for late or past-due orders
• Proactively manage shortages and supplier delays to minimize manufacturing impact
• Collaborate with suppliers to improve lead times, quality, and cost efficiency
• Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure continuity and reliability
• Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent stockouts and minimize excess inventory
• Perform regular cycle counts at manufacturing partner locations to ensure inventory accuracy
• Analyze inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions
• Optimize inventory turnover and storage efficiency using data-driven analysis
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in procurement, inventory management, or supply chain operations
• Experience working in ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in inventory optimization
• Effective communication and negotiation skills for supplier interaction
• Ability to travel as needed for supplier visits and partner meetings
