Job Description:
• Source, quote, and purchase service parts, repair components, and consumables for deployed HVAC and mechanical systems
• Identify and qualify alternate sources to mitigate lead-time or obsolescence risks
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost-effective and reliable supply
• Manage escalations for urgent repair or warranty parts
• Partner with service technicians, operations managers, and logistics teams to anticipate field part requirements
• Track and ensure on-time delivery of parts to service locations
• Maintain proactive communication regarding part status, backorders, and risk mitigation
• Coordinate with logistics for expedited shipments and emergency repairs
• Maintain accurate supplier and pricing records, preferred vendor lists, and lead-time databases
• Evaluate supplier performance on responsiveness, quality, and delivery metrics
• Collaborate with strategic sourcing teams on supplier consolidation and process improvements
• Utilize ERP and reporting tools to monitor open orders and spend by category
• Support KPI tracking and reporting for service materials
• Lead initiatives that improve supply reliability, reduce cost, and enhance data integrity
• Own the preparation and execution of technical proposals, selections and submittals for customers, ensuring accuracy while minimizing time to delivery
• Work closely with the engineering and the product management team for future product development to tailor standard and custom cooling solutions leading with a customer first approach
• Lead the standards and industry trends and developments in data center cooling technology by participating in all relevant governing bodies (i.e. OCP, AHRI etc.)
• Own the technical performance and maintenance of selection software for all equipment
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring customer satisfaction and continued repeat business
• Support technically to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth and success of the company
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
• 5 years of experience in sourcing or supply chain roles supporting field service, aftermarket, or repair operations
• Proven experience sourcing HVAC, mechanical, or electrical components
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel
• Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
• High sense of urgency and accountability supporting field operations
