This role will focus on building and optimizing scalable data pipelines, enhancing Snowflake performance, and supporting enterprise data integration efforts within Azure and Snowflake ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines in Snowflake
Build and optimize SQL scripts, stored procedures, and data transformation workflows
Implement and support Snowpipe-based ingestion processes
Perform Snowflake performance tuning, query optimization, and warehouse management
Design and maintain data models, schemas, and backend database structures
Support cloud-based data integration and ingestion processes
Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver data-driven solutions
Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline and performance issues
Participate in Agile development activities including sprint planning and standups
Required Skills
5+ years of experience in Data Engineering
Strong expertise with Snowflake, including:SQL scripting
Data loading/unloading
Snowpipe
Performance tuning and optimization
Advanced SQL development skills
Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL/ELT, and data modeling concepts
Experience building and managing enterprise data pipelines
Experience with schema design and backend database development
Familiarity with Azure cloud environments and Snowflake ecosystem
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging capabilities
Experience working in Agile environments
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Matillion or similar ETL tools
Utilities or billing systems industry experience
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field preferred
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $60.00 to $80.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
