WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Fors Marsh is seeking a Staff Accountant. This individual would work in Finance and Accounting. This job is best suited for an individual with 3-5 years' experience in the Government Contracting Industry.
Responsibilities include:
Accounts Payable:
Processes accounts payable PO vouchers in Deltek Costpoint
Sends accounts payable report to Director of Accounting for approval of payment
Prepares payment for accounts payable in Deltek Costpoint
Investigates all vendor related inquiries
Processes Expense Reports and reconciles Company Credit Cards in Deltek Time & Expense
Accounts Receivable:
Records electronic deposits to client records
Records cash receipts to client records
Cash and Credit Card Accounts:
Reconciles cash daily
Maintains a cash flow reconciliation daily
Reconciles bank accounts, credit cards and loans monthly
Provides Director of Accounting with reconciliations for review and approval
Reporting:File monthly and quarterly reports with appropriate agencies
Enter journal entries as needed
Maintain records and work with outside auditors
Contract compliance
Fixed Assets:
Update fixed assets in asset tracker for additions and deletions
Maintain records for fixed asset purchases and disposals
Qualifications:
● Proficiency in Deltek Costpoint and Time & Expense Required● 2 -4 years' experience in an accounting and Government Contracting position required● Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration with a concentration in accounting required ● Must be a motivated self-starter● Self-motivated, driven positive attitude● Great team player and able to work under tight timelines and pressure● Unwavering attention to detail and superb organizational skills● Willingness to listen and learn, with ability to multi-task

Salary:
$60,000-$65,000
