About the position
This role supports the Assistant Buyer with key operational tasks, including purchase order management, sample coordination, and new product setup. It is part of the buying/merchandising team, contributing to product launches, site optimization, and seasonal initiatives like the Holiday Gift Guide. Responsibilities
• Support the Assistant Buyer with Purchase Order Management, which includes creation, tracking and receipt
• Lead sample management and organization, which includes vendor outreach, tracking, and receipt
• Support new product launches, which includes learning about goop’s ingredient standards, asset management, Vendor setup, and SKU creation
• Learn the art of curation and discovery in support of the annual Holiday Gift Guide
• Support ad hoc site optimization projects
• Have opportunity to evaluate and preview new product development across goop’s multi-brand assortment
Requirements
• Experience in Microsoft Suite (proficiency in excel preferred)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
• Currently enrolled in a relevant undergrad (entering Junior or Senior year) in a related area of study or within 1-year post-graduation
