Technical Inside Sales Specialist & CRM Specialist

Job Title: Technical Sales & CRM Specialist (B2B) Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid/Onsite) Type: Direct Hire / Full-Time Overview A growing organization is seeking a Technical Sales & CRM Specialist to join its dynamic sales team. This role blends inside sales, technical product support, and CRM ownership, supporting both customers and field sales teams in a fast-paced B2B environment. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a technical mindset (electronics, systems, or similar) who enjoys customer interaction, problem-solving, and driving sales growth. Key Responsibilities • Serve as a key point of contact for customers via phone, email, and web inquiries • Develop and present quotes and proposals based on customer needs • Support inbound sales and generate new opportunities through outbound outreach • Partner with customers to understand requirements and recommend technical solutions • Manage customer orders and projects through full lifecycle to completion • Process returns (RMAs) and collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues • Act as CRM (Salesforce) subject matter expert, supporting adoption and best practices for the sales team • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and Service teams • Research accounts, identify decision-makers, and help drive new business • Support trade shows and marketing initiatives Qualifications • Bachelor's degree OR 3-5+ years of relevant experience in sales, technical support, or similar • Experience in B2B sales environments with technical products preferred • Strong understanding of CRM systems (Salesforce required) • Experience with ERP systems (SAP or similar required) • Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts clearly • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities What We're Looking For • Technical curiosity or background (electronics, systems, fire protection, etc. a plus) • Strong communication and relationship-building skills • Problem-solver who can navigate complex customer needs • Ability to collaborate across teams and influence outcomes • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership Why This Role • High-impact position with visibility across sales and operations • Blend of technical expertise and customer-facing sales • Opportunity to own and influence CRM strategy and usage • Growth-oriented environment with strong team collaboration
